January 5th, 2009 at 05:00:18 what about the new ruck laws? that is the most confusing part and they've left it out! hands or no hands? can someone explain>?
January 5th, 2009 at 05:23:17 This is sheer stupidity to allow the New Zealanders to change the rules to suit their style of play. Surley real rugby people realise what is happening here, they are doing away with their weakneses, including the maul. These rules are only here to help the All Blacks cheat easier and win the next RWC. Mind you, they need all the help they can get for that one!

January 5th, 2009 at 08:50:08 Your absoloutely correct mate im 16 and i would prefer not to get killed under a collapsing mall. :D
January 5th, 2009 at 09:13:07 I was fine with the "Elv's" really... Until i played with this rules... Their all okay actually, just except for the 'direct kick from 22m' rule. I think i destroys the point of having the 22m in the first place. It's brilliant that you've to get back behind the 22m mark to kick a direct kick out, and if outside, you've to bounce it. But i don't see why they want to create the new rule. ( I hope this "experiment" stays an experiment. )

January 5th, 2009 at 11:08:02 Of course not fatty!
January 5th, 2009 at 11:31:01 Get over it, the players that have used the laws gave them the thumbs up, the fans that have seen them in practice think its a change for the better, the Super 14 was better for it and the Tri Nations is the best one for a long long time. Just accept it and be positive about the laws like the players will be when they have used them. But don't worry, some things won't change, the Northern Hemisphere is still going to get savaged by the Southern year in year out.
January 5th, 2009 at 11:54:00 rugby aint broke it doesent need fixin i like the line out idea hate the maul idea and hate the 5m away from the scurm idea and not been able to clear the ball from the 22 if thrown back has to be right up there wit the maul fuckin tick ideas

January 5th, 2009 at 13:25:56 I don't like how they are trying to say that most of the tries seen there are a direct result of the ELV's... A lot of those would have been tries anyway, either because of poor defense or great plays. Why do they need to stop the rolling maul? It's what gives the lesser nations an opportunity in the world cup to score against the major rugby nations. Now that one of their main strengths has been taken away, what kind of affect is that going to have????
